One bitcoin is 100,000,000 satoshis. Multiplying a BTC amount by that unit scale gives its integer satoshi amount.

For example, 0.125 BTC is 12,500,000 satoshis. The unit changes; the underlying Bitcoin amount does not.

One ETH is 1,000,000,000 gwei, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 wei. Gwei often makes gas-price quotes easier to read.

A gas price is not a whole transaction fee: multiply the gas used by the effective gas price, then convert units.
